It is hard to see where it is going with the fast changingtechnology. Currently, the nVidia is playing a major role in the computer industrywith the SLI technology. It has already release that the next generation of nVidia cards in SLI will be needing fourPCI-E power connections. And with the current power supply mfg., it had only twoPCI-E connectors. In addition, with the current multiply hard disk drive and media drivewe installed in the system and two next generation two video graphic cards. Furthermore, just by those two video graphic cards it can use it up approx. 240 watts. That consumelots of power.
Now, with the world first 1100watts computer power supply (TG-1100-U96) made byTagan Technology. You are ready to fly to the top of the world. Tagan's TG-1100 consisted of four-6pins PCI-E connector for the use of next generation two videographic cards computer system. Three SATA lines with 10 connectors for all the harddisk, floopy disk, media drive... One molex line with 3 connectors for the old modeldrives connector. It has also included a SATA to Molex adaptor. And all thisconnector has a solid plastic over metal mesh wrap with the EMI shield.
As for the power, it is 1100watts for Quad-GFX engine and Multi-Core server. The1100watts come from six of 20Amp 12volt rails, one 28Amp 3.3volt rail, one 6.5Amp5volt rail.... With so much power it provide, Tagan has use two large transformers. Thetwo large transformer function is to separate and independent outrail to provide thestable power voltage. In additon to the voltage, there is a "Potentionmeter" which you canadjust the customize voltage going to your computer. Put it to test, the productitself under the idle and load condition, each rail only drop less than 0.5% compare withthe +/-5% tolerance.
You may be wondering that 1100watts power supply dispense the heat generate. Thereis a two 80mm fan. The outtake fan has a eleven special noise reduction and airflow
efficiency (dimped) blade and the intake has seven large blade. With these design,it can intake the mass heat and outake the inner air fast. Additionally, itself hasrounded heatsink. The rounded heatsink provide better air flow on its part and permit moreheat to dissipate.
