Thought2Form Productions, LLC, has launched Podtopia.net -- a new online publishingplatform that makes it easy for individuals and small/medium-sized businesses toquickly and easily join in the podcasting revolution.
A simple interface enables users to upload their mp3 files and information abouttheir episodes, then publish their podcasts (with generic and iTunes-ready feedfiles) with a few clicks. Information from prior shows can easily be retrieved andre-used in subsequent podcasts. Each podcaster receives a full-featured podcastwebpage with their own url on Podtopia.net, so they don't need a new website to getfound by search engines. Additionally, Podtopia.net allows users to include htmlfrom banner exchanges or ad programs, like Google's AdSense, so that they can earnmoney with their podcasts. Each Podtopia member's web page can also be customized tomatch the design of their existing website, for a seamless site integration.
"Podcasting doesn't have to difficult," says Podtopia.net's Founder and ChiefArchitect, Kay Stoner. "And aspiring podcasters shouldn't have to struggle in theuncertain waters of early-stage technologies like podcasting. In principle (and ifyou know the in's and out's of web developing), podcasting is a collection ofstraightforward technologies. But not everyone has been building high-end websitessince 1995. With Podtopia.net, average people don't have to have special skills, toget involved in podcasting. We make it simple to publish podcasts, while keepingPodtopia.net feature-rich and intuitive."
Personalization and customization play a big role in Podtopia.net's offerings, aswell. "We provide you with your own podcast web page, so you don't get lost in thecrowd," says Stoner. "If you've made the effort to produce a valuable podcast, yourshow deserves the best presentation it can get. So, we let you design your ownpodcast page, either with a look you may have already developed for your existingwebsite, or other designs you choose."
Podtopia.netÂ's debut features podcasts from Bob Prentice, nationally recognizedprofessional development consultant, and the "Podtopia" podcast, which discussestechniques for successful podcasting and using Podtopia.net. For more information onPodtopia.net and podcasting, visit www.podtopia.net.
