In Phase 1 of its deployment (already in progress) Tiamet Communications will launcha powerful point-to-point secure 900 Mhz service able to cover wide areas as isneeded in rural communities such as Mecklenburg County. Part of this rollout willinclude basic PC and security training in order to help customers maintain a safeand secure PC.

Phase 2 of the deployment will include free wireless Internet access in publicareas. As part of this phase, Tiamet will offer Comodo's TrustConnect, a servicewhich allows users to create a secure wireless session in public wireless networks.With Comodo's TrustConnect, users can elect to sign up per session or per month toensure encrypted and secure Internet sessions.
