Functionality with AutodeskÂ's latest CAD platform now available

Transoft Solutions Inc., developers of the software for the engineering andarchitectural design community, officially announced that its entire product linehas been tested and fully functional within AutoCAD 2008 (and its verticalapplications), AutodeskÂ's most current CAD platform release. Transoft SolutionsÂ'suite of productivity boosting software include: AutoTURN, ParkCAD, GuidSIGN, andAeroTURN.
Steven Cheng, VP of Development at Transoft Solutions, stated, Â We are pleased tosay that Transoft products are now compatible with AutoCAD 2008. A year ago, majoreffort was needed to port Transoft Products to AutoCAD 2007. Compared to that,AutoCAD 2008 support was a relatively straightforward process. Our quality assuranceteam proactively tested early beta versions of AutoCAD 2008 to make sure weuncovered any incompatibility issues. Now that the commercial release is available,formal quality assurance procedures were followed to make sure all our software isfully supported.Â
Transoft's product manager, Michael Frost further added, Â We have to ensure that allour products work seamlessly with the latest CAD platforms before being released tothe public. Through our due diligence, we want to make certain all our engineeringand architectural clients have the right tools so that their time and efforts areoptimized for their design work. With that in mind, we do not release our products untilthey have undergone a complete testing and quality assurance stage. Mr. Cheng concluded, Â This compatibility statement only covers 32 bit systems. Thedemand for 64 bit support is still low and will be carefully monitored.Â
