This new product lets users to connect to any USB devicelocated on the remote PC on Internet or on the local network. Users will be able towork with it as with local USB device and applications working with it will neversee the difference. USB to Ethernet Connector works with USB driver at the systemlevel. It intercepts USB port activity for the shared device and redirects it viaTCP/IP network to remote site, where it is handled appropriately. USB to EthernetConnector works with USB driver at the system level. Our application intercepts USBport activity for the prepared (shared) device and redirects it via TCP/IP networkto remote site, where it is handled appropriately. To achieve such functionality auser should install USB to Ethernet Connector on both computers that take part incommunication process. USB to Ethernet uses client-server architecture (server sidehas USB device physically attached to, while client side connects to remote serverand uses the services it provides), but each side can be a client and a server atthe same time. USB to Ethernet Connector shares USB ports rather than devices. Theuser may also plug in a USB device, connected to it from the remote host, detach thedevice and plug in another one, and it will automatically appear at the client side.Among key-features are unlimited number of USB devices, that can be shared,auto-connecting to new USB devices whenever you plug them in and work under virtualmachines. Shared USB ports are also automatically re-configured every time the userboots ther PC. The program is fully compatible with Windows 2000/XP/2003 and withHyperThreaded and multi-processor systems. USB to Ethernet Connector has a widerange of supported USB devices and standards. This makes this application pleasantto work with.
