So why this business?
We all know that just about every company out there has a website. Even mom and popgrocery stores seem to have sites these days. The trick is that only one in ahundred sites actually bring in any revenue.
And those that do make money are not sure how to maintain their stake.
Take the ever-so popular Yahoo.com site. They have millions of visitors every year. In fact, they are in the top ten of websites in terms of traffic. Even thisgoliath has announced this morning that their revenue streams are decreasing.
Is the Member Authority model all hype?
So I asked Allen to show me some proof of success. He led me to one of theircurrent products. It s a program called the Apprentice Program on a site calledPurePointGolf.com.

The current program gives members a learning curriculum kind of like a syllabusfrom college. Each week new videos, worksheets, and other learning media areprovided to the member. The members have to wait until the next week until theyreceive more content so they are forced to learn, practice, and track theirprogress. Needless to say, it was a very well-built program.
After Member Authority built and implemented the Apprentice Program the PurePointGolf Company s sales soared. For competitive reasons he wouldn t share specificnumbers with me; however he did share percentages. Not only did the initial salesskyrocket, monthly revenue had stabilized from return members and continued to growfrom new subscriptions.
In a nutshell, they found, developed, and now deliver the formula for making moneyon the web.
I used to take company s money for consulting projects, said Mr. Narkiewicz. NowI make them money. It s a much better feeling.
