This week saw the launch of the new web site from UK web hostNicnames.
Having concentrated on improving customer service and customer support efforts sincetaking it over, including increased staff levels and a new telephone support system,the new owners of Nicnames have now turned their development attention to thenicnames.co.uk web site and given it a much needed overhaul.
The site has previously gone through some minor upgrades and additions, but neveruntil now has it been subject to such a concentrated re-development.
The Nicnames team have rebuilt the site from the ground up using modern codingmethods and techniques, in turn delivering a faster, more reliable online service.
Not to mention a great new look and developments focused on improving usability, amore structured approach to internal linking and page relationships and a genuineattempt at following SEO, accessibility and W3C guidelines where practicallypossible.
From a user perspective, the new site includes better product descriptions, a largerproduct offering and easier to use navigation.
The priorities and objectives of the developments have been based mainly on thefeedback received from customers since take over and a common sense realisation thatthe site had to be updated to reflect the improved Nicnames service and new productofferings.
An Nicnames spokesperson said  Times have changed and the Nicnames service has movedon leaps and bounds since we took it over. There has been massive improvement incustomer communications and support as well as developments and roll-outs of newNicnames products. We felt the time was right to reflect these improvements throughthe functionality and usability of our web site.Â
