 My main motivation is helping to provide for my family.  I learned determination from my father, a career Navy man who raised four childrenalong with my stay-at-home mother. It was a different world then, and it waspossible for my mother to not work and tend to the home. My father was alwaysdetermined to provide for us and retired from two other careers after he retiredfrom the service. He knew what was needed and did it and never once did I hear himcomplain.Â

Self-confidence:

 As an adult, being self-confident was never an issue for me. When I first gotinvolved with computers in 1993 I had enough confidence in myself to teach myselfMicrosoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, and a variety of other programs. Atthe time I was doing in-home daycare so I could be with my own children and workedon the computer at night. Not once did I ever think I couldn't learn those programson my own.Â

Resourcefulness:

 On ce my boys reached school age I looked for another source of income and opened ahome business selling jewelry. However, it required a lot of late nights so I lookedaround and found out I could make money with an online business instead. Aftertrying a number of marketing programs that didn't produce the right results for me,I discovered my current online business and as they say, the rest is history!"
