RoboWiz Corporation announces the alpha release ofVistascript Developer for creating rich clientapplications on Windows Vista.
The development environment includes a syntax highligting editor, a GUI designer, aninteractive debugger, an editor for modifying server side scripts, and a scriptcompiler. The runtime is a bytecode interpreter with builtin support XMPP, JSON,REST, and SOAP protocols.
The Vistascipt language is modelled after the Javascript 2.0 proposal and supportsthe use of Smalltalk style code blocks.
