Following the company restructure, LightPointe hasredesigned its next generation products FlightLite and FlightStrata to increaseperformance and reduce unit costs.
LightPointe s outdoor wireless solutions and customer installations connect two ormore buildings in classic LAN-to-LAN backbone configuration with high-bandwidththroughput up to 1.25Gbps. Buildings are linked using beams of light as the primarydata path, making LightPointe s wireless solutions powerful yet simple to install.
FlightLite and FlightStrata are quicker, easier and less disruptive to install thantraditional network cabling. Wireless networks can link buildings above ground,without the need for site planning as cable does not need to be laid undergroundmaking them the ideal solution for campus, flexible or temporary sites. Whilstsignificantly cheaper than leased lines, interception of optical wirelesstransmissions is virtually impossible making the wireless networks completelysecure.
