Manila, Philippines, July 25, 2007 Recently, WickedInnovations stepped forward and spoke for the outsourcing companies based in thePhilippines. Because of the doubt given to offshore outsourcing companies, mainlytrust issues, the said company decided to speak up and defend the industry in thecountry.
Wicked Innovations spokesperson said, Companies from different parts of the worldshould not think that outsourcing in the Philippines is such a big risk for theirorganization. Also, there are well established outsourcing companies in our country,like Wicked Innovations, that assures to finish a project on-time and as wanted.
A question was asked on how can they assure that the customer won't have a hard timein communicating with the staff like what happens in some transactions in India. Heanswered, Filipinos are among the best IT professionals in the world. We have avery good command of the English language and western culture. And for being knownas hospitable, service-oriented and customer-oriented individuals are just pluspoints.
Another question was raised during the interview. A member of the press asked, According to one article I read, one of the major disadvantages of offshoreoutsourcing is the risk of confidentiality. For example, a payroll or data entries,all the informations will be sent to the outsourcing company. How would you gainyour client's trust on this?
As an answer, Wicked Innovations spokesperson said, I think that goes for everyoutsourcing company in the world and not only in the Philippines. All companiesoperating procedures differ from one another so I cannot speak for them. But as forWicked Innovations, after and doing the the project, we keep strict confidentialityof our cooperation.
And the last question asked was about the possible business threats in the serviceprovider's country, which Philippines is a special mention, because of terrorismconcerns. He said, The Philippine government is prioritizing the support of thelocal IT industry. This industry has a great contribution in our economy so restassured that if ever there will be any likely change in the environment surrounding,the services from the IT industry will not be affected in a drastic way.
