t-Timer is a database application, tracking time for eachproject and subproject a user is working on. You can choose between chargeable andnon-chargeable projects in order to keep an overview of the occurring costs. Thenumber of projects is not limited and they are drilled down to three levels. Firstlevel is the client, second level are the main projects, for example“Support” and the third level are subprojects, like “Telephonesupport” or “Email support”. Compared to a lot of other time tracking software, Xpert-Timer displays the actualneeded time for the project on a timebar, floating on the desktop. The time runsautomatically, so there’s no need of entering the times afterwards. You canswitch between projects by either clicking on the timebar or using hotkeys for theprojects. This guarantees a quick switching between projects, which is essential forusers in order to accept the program.Multiple reports show e.g. the exact timestamps or the sum of working hours of aproject. The report can also be used as a sign off sheet for customers, can be sentto an FTP Server, through email or be printed as a .pdf or paper printout. An exportto Excel is also included in the software.Users, not connected to the main database at all time, can track their timesoffline.
