Dimensions E Services announces the launch of an on-line testpreparation tool, branded as uTest. This is the first product from this India basede-Learning content and applications developers. The tool encompasses all majorfunctionalities in a Test preparation environment. It comes with the ability tocreate customized tests, manage multiple sessions and students. Some of the keyfeatures are ability to configure a test based on question level difficulties,introduce modules/ lessons, allow peer reviews, report relative and absolute grades.Despite a big list of trainer and user delight features, the tool is light. uTest is a test preparation engine. It has a robust Administration module that wouldallow a trainer/ teacher to assemble a test on the fly. And it has a unique userexperience that allows students peer to peer reviews and customizable feedbackreports. It can be integrated into any existing or planned e learning framework.
Test developer featuresThe trainers have flexibility to categorize questions into 3 difficulty modes andinfinite chapters/ modules. The tests can be timed or un-timed. An instructor canalso define the class or students who would take the test. Most important feature isthe flexibility to author to manage multiple tests from a personalized home page.
Test taker featuresTest takers have many features at their finger tips. They can take the test inpractice mode or scoring mode. The practice mode would allow them to add bookmarksand review later while the scoring mode would give them performance charts. Theperformance charts are dynamically generated and give relative and absolute scores.
