Milan, March 2007: finally available the first web applicationwhich grants the web contentsÂ' protection.Only-View Web Copyright Security System is a platform created for who want toprotect their own private documents (such as images, clips, Word, Excel, Power Pointfiles and any components which could be included inside Macromedia Flash) anddocuments covered by royalties (images for instance) making them usable exclusivelyfor web visualization. Only-View protects .swf files (images, movies and flashwebsites) preventing any attempts of downloading and copying through pc with MSInternet Explorer browser. In case of using other configurations, these files willnot even be displayed.
To avail the service is only necessary to make a subscription: Only-View creates aprotected .swf file copy of each file uploaded by the user on the platform andprovides in return an url and an iframe allowing users to access their owndocuments. Users can copy and paste the iframe directly on their own personalwebsite if they have a domain.In case of pictures, for example, itÂ's not necessary to use the image search commandinside the web page html code anymore. The user will only have to use thecorrespondent .swf file with the tag iframe supplied by Only-View Web CopyrightSecurity System: this picture might be displayed but not easily copied, saved orprinted with the traditional systems used by the Internet Navigators.
Mauro Camelo, the applicationÂ's creator, has been creating web-based applicationrelated with management software for ages. "The web is a precious and unlimitedsource of knowledge and update " he says  "but not all users avail it legally.That's why I aimed to identify a solution to guarantee royalties protection so thatusersÂ' contents could be protected from illegal downloading"."Driving force" in the project was Starring, a company which uses the most advancedweb oriented technologies focusing on initiatives concerning photography. "Whatconvinced me to collaborate with Mauro was the difficulty in protecting royalties inthe images field  Angelo Cucchetto explains  "We face this problem every daywhile managing our professional images archives and our photography portals .
