We are addressing both software developers or software distributors and software users.

Shareware software developer
You can have your software reviewed on SoftArea51.com in exchange for a small fee. Please use our contact form to ask for a quote and make sure you specify your company name and your product name. We'll get back to you in 24 hours, letting you know the fee amount and how soon your product may be reviewed.

By default the review will be based on the trial version. If you want to have the full version reviewed we kindly ask you to provide us a registration key. The key you provide will be used for the reviewing purpose only and will not be given to any third-parties. During the review process, you might be contacted if our editors have any issues in installing or using your product.

Our software editors have experience not only as software users but also as both as software developers, this allowing them to have a professional approach in reviewing a product. The editor's ratings are granted based on:

• product usability
• graphic interface
• functionalities
• user guides, documentation and support
• clean software (spyware/adware free).

If we find a product to be best of breed in its class, to bring an innovative spirit, or simply to be extremely useful, a Must Have software we grant it the SoftArea51 Product Recognition Award. Most popular publishers and top publishers may be also rewarded for their entire activity.

Software users
As one of our mottos is take your favorite software to a test drive, we are also accepting requests from software users. In this case please use our contact form and make sure you specify your name, and the way we can contact you, and try to identify as much as possible the product that you want to be reviewed. In case you have already tested a product and want to publish your own full review please contact us and we'll be glad to have you as an editor collaborator, granting you full credits for your opinions. Your review just has to be objective, and on topic and to follow these criteria product usability, graphic interface, functionalities, user guides, documentation and support, clean software (spyware/adware free).
