AudioPlayer is a DirectShow based media player capable of playing MP3, WAV, MIDI, WMA and ASF sound files as well as WPL, ASX and M3U playlists. OGG and FLAC support can be added by downloading and installing the codecs from http://www.illiminable.com/ogg/ (850 KB) No install is required.
So what's the catch? Simple, there isn't one. Completely free and full functionality today, tomorrow, in 30 days, next year, forever.
What's new in current version
* Fixed divide by zero crash when playing zero duration sound files * Open File(s) remains enabled when a file is open/playing, so you change files without having to select the close option first
* The title and artist of the song now appears in the middle part of the status bar instead of the filename
* Language Dll issue fixed where the filter for the Open File(s) dialog box was missing in some language versions
