Stenographer is a hybrid of a tuned audio player and a text editor that is used to type the text of seminars, interviews, lectures, etc. recorded on a dictating machine or using a microphone. The program is designed to make playing, searching for the needed fragment and other operations specific for typing text from an audio record as easy as possible and partially to automate them. How does it work? Stenographer has the following features that make it easier to control the playback of an audio record: Two customizable modes of winding the record back and forward. Playback with a customizable repetition period. Playback from the place where you stopped typing text. Controlling the playback speed. Named bookmarks and moving between them. and other. Who is it for? In the first place, Stenographer will be useful for journalists, people who visit and record seminars, students who write lectures and a lot of other people who use a dictating machine and who need to type the recorded information later.
