HumanEdj is a "personal process assistant" - free software that helps the user carry out any and all work activities in which they are engaged, facilitating tasks and interactions as necessary.
HumanEdj is a new kind of process support system. It runs on the client machine(s) of each process participant, installing with a click. No server installation is required.
HumanEdj not only includes all the features of a conventional case management or workflow system, but also provides support for the innovative, adaptive, evolutionary activities typical of collaborative human work. Think a continually re-negotiated set of contracts between process participants (in which you agree on interactions, deliverables and business rules - and assume that all these may change during the life of the process) as opposed to flowchart-style workflow/BPM (in which you agree on activity sequencing, loops and branch points - and if the process breaks down you have to declare an "exception").
And it's not just about enabling collaborative work. Forget the usual grappling with program configuration, remote system access, complex file systems, and a bewildering variety of Web resources! Let HumanEdj do it all for you. HumanEdj runs in the same way on whatever device you happen to be using - your usual desktop, a laptop on the plane, an Internet cafe terminal, ... - to help you get things done as quickly and efficiently as possible, no matter where you are.
