FileMed is an effective and affordable EMR and scheduling solution for small and medium sized (up to 200 users) primary care and physicians practices. FileMed EMR system offers simple and efficient patient documentation management, while freeing your practice of bulky paper records. FileMed uses an encrypted database system, to help you meet the HIPAA requirements. Charting: FileMed has the unique capability of customizing a Clinical Chart template for almost any medical specialty, and the possibility to attach accurate reporting of diagnosis codes according to the built-in International Classification of Diseases ICD-9CM and ICD-10 tables. Simple Appointment Scheduling: FileMed manages the times for the appointments in a highly customizable manner, making it easy to configure by the user. The appointments template (one for each user) is highly flexible, thus allowing the setup of days and the time for each appointment, time slots, duration of each appointment, bank holidays, non-working days and the addition of extra (non-scheduled) appointments. Medical Images: FileMed EMR stores your patient's clinical chart, medical images and graphics in a database format. Images may originate from digital cameras, video-endoscopy devices, video acquisition cards, scanners, image files, screen captures, and any other digital video device. The program provides the appropriate tools to attach and view each of these items. Networking and Multiuser Support: FileMed EMR has built-in networking support. Because of this, your patient records are always easy to read, well organized and accessible anywhere in your office that a terminal is installed. FileMed EMR helps you lower the cost of health care while improving its quality.
