File names can be automatically matched to users' Active Directory profiles based on any AD field: name, employee ID and more - so a 'KarenGreen.jpg' could be added automatically to Karen Green's profile. It auto-crops images to fit the 'People Pane' in Outlook, so all your photos fit the format, without any effort from you - it's team-building without being back-breaking. Outlook Photos is free - not just to try, not with some features left out: just free. You get full functionality the moment you download: no license keys, no paid set-up. No add-ins, no local installs either - it doesn't interfere with Outlook or your mail server and it doesn't require you to manually add a local version to each machine. It simply moves photos into your GAL - all the images in emails, SharePoint, Lync and meeting invites are placed there by innate functionality in Exchange 2010 - so it's free and safe.
