VisualRoute combines the tools traceroute, ping, reverse DNS, and Whois into a single graphical interface that analyzes Internet connections to quickly locate where outages or slowdowns occur. An IP location database identifies the geographical location of IP addresses and Web servers, showing the path of an Internet connection on a global map. Domain registration and network provider contact information are reported for each network hop.  

X-NetStat displays information on your Internet and / or network connections in realtime. Details of each connections are shown in a list called the connection table, including remote hostname and IP address, local and remote ports, connection status, age, and process. The program can forcefully kill connections, copy connection information to the clipboard, minimize the application to the system tray, show bytes in/out, and more.  

DNS Thing is a free utility that provides Windows users with a way to make common DNS queries using a graphical user interface. It can provide frequently queried information like looking up the IP address for a hostname or determining the MX record for a domain. It can also provide more advanced results such as Sender Policy Framework anti-spam data and time-to-live (TTL) information for queries.  

Free IP scanner is a very fast IP scanner and port scanner. It is intended for both system administrators and general users to monitor and manage their networks. Powered with multi-thread scan technology, it can scan hundreds computers per second. It simply pings each IP address to check if it's alive, determines hostname, MAC address, NetBIOS information, scans ports, etc. The information obtained can be exported into a file as plain text file.  

Free Port Scanner is a small, fast, easy-to-use and robust port scanner for the Win32 platform.You can scan ports on fast machines in a few seconds and can perform scan on predefined port ranges. This tool uses TCP packets to determine available hosts and open ports, service associated with port and other important characteristics. The tool is designed with a user-friendly interface and is easy to use.  

PingPlotter Standard is a lightweight network monitoring and troubleshooting tool. It can run in the background collecting data while you continue to run applications, and then allow you to quickly look at the data in an intuitive graphical format when you experience problems (reduced call quality for VoIP, slowdowns or disconnects with applications, etc.). PingPlotter Standard is great at allowing you to collect data over time to see trends.  

Anti-Spam Blacklist Thing lets you check to see if a given IP address or hostname is on one of up to 20 different anti-spam blacklists. Anti-Spam Blacklist Thing is provided by SpamButcher completely free of charge. This application may be of use to individuals troubleshooting email delivery issues, performing anti-spam research or are otherwise responsible for email servers.  

Active Whois is an easy-to-use network tool for the retrieving of all information such as country, email and postal addresses for the owners of IP addresses and Internet domains. Unlike other WHOIS clients, Active Whois does not require special skills to collect the desired information. Its unique WHOIS-hyperlink feature allows you to browse a domain's databases as easily as you do the Web.

Site Status Checker is an Internet Software that includes tools like: Site's List Management, Traceroute, DNS Lookup, Finger, WhoIs, FTP Client, Internet Browser and Time Synchronize. Site's List Management is a feature that allows you build many lists of Web sites or Ftp servers. Check whether any Web site or Ftp server is connectable or not. Program can check connection status at scheduled time and send alert email if a site is not alive.
