About the Author DreamCalc was conceived and developed by Andy Thomas. He has a degree in physics from Leicester University (UK) and began his professional career in spacecraft engineering and design. He quickly moved into programming, developing military training systems and simulations in C++. During the late 1990s, Andy played a significant role in the development of Short Message Service (SMS) platforms. He was the originator of key SMS routing algorithms in widespread use today.
