ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus Full Description

ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus is a secure, web-based end-user self-service password-reset solution. It helps domain users reset passwords and change existing passwords complying to policy requirements, unlock accounts and update personal information in the Active Directory. This helps jettison a significant work-load for the helpdesk, also cutting down on the related expenses and optimizing the employee-productivity by saving on the waiting-time involved. All these benefits do not compromise on the security: ADSelfService Plus, in addition to MySQL, now also supports MS-SQL A much-awaited upgrade that will further strengthen the security of the end users' database. Brute-force attacks can be prevented using Word Verification Images called CAPTCHAs. The software can mandate users to answer security questions to reset the password, that strengthens the security by one more level. In addition to these, ADSelfService Plus can also verify users by SMS validation the password can be changed only after the unique SMS code is entered. All these aspects ensure that the identity of the user changing the password is authenticated at multiple levels. The software also provides a detailed audit report on all the changes done with it, and this effectively addresses the need for compliance to various Govt. Regulatory Acts. The products houses reports that generate comprehensive reports on account and password statuses of the Active Directory users and can also be scheduled to run periodically, and the software can even notify users via email, whose passwords are about to expire. The Product facilitates Single Sign-On, Password Reset from Windows Logon Extension (GINA) for Windows 2000 and XP and Credential Provider for Windows Vista. It also facilitates OU-Based Self-Service Policy Configuration and Reporting on SelfService Policies configured.
