SecureCentral™ PatchQuest is an automated web-based patch management software for distributing and managing patches and service packs in Windows systems, in just a few simple clicks. It can run as a service and it efficiently scans your enterprise network, identifies missing software patches, distributes them to vulnerable systems and keeps them up-to-date and free from vulnerabilities, thus paving way for a more secure enterprise environment. PatchQuest is also an effective reporting tool for reporting missing security updates & packages on Red Hat Linux and Debian Linux systems. It can be used in conjunction with Linux patch deployment tools like up2date and apt-get to manage such systems. PatchQuest's optional agent architecture gives you the flexibility to manage systems effectively and provides for simplified patch management. It supports patches in the English language for operating systems and applications like Windows Vista, 2003 Server,XP Professional,2000 Professional and Server,NT 4.0 Workstation and Server,IE,IIS,SQL Server,MDAC,Media Player etc. and Red Hat Linux and Debian Linux. The 5 system small network edition is available free of cost.
